Kenmore Live Studio - Billy Elliot the Musical & Common Threads Culinary Collision - Free Event 9/12

Join the tastes, sounds and talent of the Tony Award‐winning musical production Billy Elliot the Musical and local non-profit Common Threads as they go head‐to‐head in a Culinary Collision at the Kenmore Live Studio on Sunday, September 12 from 7 to 9 PM. Doors open at 6 PM.

The free cook off is open to the public and will feature two teams, each consisting cast members from Billy Elliot paired with a child from Common Threads, will battle it out to prepare the tastiest “Sunday Family Dinner.” Based on Common Threads’ philosophy of well‐rounded nutrition and physical well‐being, Whole Foods Markets will provide the ingredients for the health‐conscious entrées and desserts.  The teams will have 30 minutes to conceive and create the meal, and then three special guest judges will determine the winner. The kitchen showdown will also be broadcast live at Kenmore's Facebook Page.

Kenmore Live Studio is dedicated to recognizing local Chicago talent in all areas of the arts – including actors, musicians and artists.  There will also be some special guests on hand!  You can find out more information about the event here.
