First of all, let me (Maria) thank all of you for the support you've given My Chicago Mommy this past year. It has truly been a labor of love getting it off the ground and being able to share so much with you. As many of you know, I have 4 kids at home and a very supportive husband who is truly amazing with everything he does so I can do what I do. I also have a couple of other jobs/businesses aside from this site. When I first started My Chicago Mommy, it was mainly to be a place to direct the students that attended the money-saving classes I taught for local and national deals. My Chicago Mommy has become another "baby" for me and hopefully you have seen the love that has been put into the site. I only wish there were more hours of the day so I could do more for you. It's because of all of you that has made me want to become a better blogger and give so much more. So, thank you again! While I was at BlogHer in August, I had the opportunity to take part in a Yahoo! Shine interview above. I thought you might enjoy a little glimpse of what life is like as a blogger.
Because My Chicago Mommy has grown so much, Melanie's addition as my partner is a very welcome one! She has done a tremendous job getting My Milwaukee Mommy up and running and we're very glad to have her expertise here. We have a lot of things planned to continue to be the resource to help you enjoy your lives without breaking the bank, so you may notice some changes here or there. We do appreciate the feedback we receive from you regarding what you like, what you don't like, and what you'd like to see on the site, so feel free to contact us with your feedback.
