St. Patrick's Day Festival

The Irish American Heritage Center will hold its St. Patrick's Festival following the downtown Chicago's St. Patrick's Day Parade. Festivities begin at 1 p.m., end at midnight and include traditional and contemporary Irish music, dance, food and children's activities.

Cost: Tickets are $15 for adults or $12 for advance purchase before Mar. 15. Kids 12 and under free with paying adult.
Gem, Mineral, and Fossil Show
Sunday March 18th, 2012
Event feature live and silent auctions of minerals and fossils, dealers of jewelry, gems, minerals and fossils, demonstrations of lapidary and jewelry making, a kid's corner with participation, exhibits from The Field and Lizzadro Museums and a geode cracker.
