GURNEE MILLS HOSTS 11th ANNUAL LAKE COUNTY FIRE AND SAFETY EXPO ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 25
WHAT: In an effort to prevent house fires and keep families safe, Gurnee Mills presents the 11th Annual Lake County Fire Safety Expo with 20 local fire departments teaching children and families the basics of fire safety. Children will enjoy a kids combat challenge, a demonstration from Lake County’s K-9 Unit, a fire safety smokehouse, a jaws of life demonstration, as well as interactions with Smokey The Bear and more.
Plus, children 10-years-old and younger will also receive a free “Passport to Safety” and one complimentary raffle ticket. All proceeds will benefit the Lake County Fire Education Programs.
