Looking for Daycare Serivces near UIC? Have you checked out Easter Seals?

This is my daycare as a matter of fact :) I have been with Easter Seals going on 3 years now. Even though I live in what some call West Town I started at the Near South Center on Cermak and State and moved here once my son turned 3. I was willing to make the drive for the service and environment. Can you tell I love my daycare? Here are a few examples why: There are a lot of kids yet most of the administrative staff knows the names of all of the kids in the place. What I also love is the diversity. You hear many different languages in the halls and there are so many nationalities represented. Easter Seals works to expose the children to many different cultures and traditions. One event that they have revolves around having a particular type of food made by different cultures so you can see and TASTE how one uses the food versus the other. Last year it was rice. There was Spanish Rice, Dirty Rice, Fried Rice etc.

If you are looking for affordable daycare in the area, stop in and speak with the staff. You tell them My Chicago Mommy sent you :) I am sure after speaking with the staff you will see why I love this place for my son.
