I'm an Aldi girl! (is it sad that I sing that to the tune of "I'm a Barbie girl" lol) Recently I had a chance to go to the Aldi test kitchen and experience many new things that I didn't know Aldi had to offer. We were treated to a Thanksgiving type feast made with all Aldi's products. We learned about Aldi's practices and model and the way it saves us money in the end. Did you know that Aldi's products are what are called Private Label. Each item goes through stringent testing and evaluation to ensure that it is as good or better than the name brand items out on the market. They work very hard to ensure that they are carrying the best product there is in comparison to the name brand item. We did some taste tests and I can tell you that on items that I was so sure were the name brand I was wrong :) I actually found the Aldi version to be better in many cases.

There are many Aldi location in the Chicago area. You can go HERE to locate the one closest to you.

My favorite items were the Thanksgiving bites. Aldi's was kind enough to share the recipe as well as a few other holiday recipes they came up with.

They were also kind enough to offer me 2 gift certificates to give away to 2 of my fans! You can enter below for your chance to win one of the two. This is open to any one that has an Aldi's nearby :)
