*Review* Choccreate - Create Your Own Chocolate

Links provided may be from affiliate programs which help support this blog. Thanks for clicking!
.

I love chocolate! So I was thrilled when Choccreate gave me the opportunity to try their website, where you can choose your own add-ins for chocolate bars! Here is what I ordered:
  • White chocolate with brown sugar, real bacon bits, & Teddy Grahams.
  • Milk chocolate with ground espresso, hazelnuts, & macadamia nuts.
  • Dark chocolate with 23 karat gold powder, corn flakes, raspberries, & strawberries.

There was so much to choose from so it took me awhile to come up with my creations. I wanted to try something different, so I know my add-ins may seem a little odd, but all of my Choccreate bars were actually really good! The ground espresso with milk chocolate and fruit with dark chocolate were especially yummy! I also received my chocolate bars in a very timely manner, and was pleasantly surprised by the cute gift box they came in! I think these would make a great gift for Mother's Day or any special occasion!

Choccreate also has options for you to choose their best sellers, different selections, and healthy choices in case you're not sure what combinations to try. You can also get Choccreate gift certificates.

*REVIEW* Halo SleepSack

Links provided may be from affiliate programs which help support this blog. Thanks for clicking!

HALO was founded by Bill Schmid, who began researching sleeping environments after he lost a daughter to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in 1991. Since 1994, HALO has worked to develop products that encourage healthier and safer sleeping as well as bring peace of mind to your home. The HALO SleepSack wearable blanket replaces loose blankets in the crib that can cover your baby's face and interfere with breathing. A percentage of HALO Innovations' profits are donated to charities that help in the fight against SIDS. HALO is also working with hundresds of hospitals nationwide via their Safer Way to Sleep Initiative to educate parents on safe sleep practices and provide HALO SleepSack wearble blankets to NICU and hospital nurseries to model safe sleep practices.

Melanie's Review:
We have a very active newborn, so when we put blankets on her or swaddle her with blankets, she usually kicks them off! The HALO SleepSack is great because she can't kick it off her since she wears it like a nightgown that closes up with a zipper. It's especially handy now that it's getting colder! The SleepSack is also made of a soft fleece material so it's very comfortable for her too! Now we can be sure that our little one stays warm & cozy during these cold winter nights!

HALO SleepSacks are now available in Target stores! Make sure to visit their website to view their whole selection of HALO SleepSacks & to learn more about SIDS prevention, and also follow them on Facebook & Twitter!

* REVIEW * Sesame Street Live "Elmo's Green Thumb"

Links provided may be from affiliate programs which help support this blog. Thanks for clicking!
My family and I had the opportunity to watch Sesame Street Live "Elmo's Green Thumb" today and it was quite a show. If you have preschoolers who like Sesame Street, then they will enjoy this one. It was full of dancing and great educational songs. The storyline was about how Elmo was trying to find a new "home" for his new friend, Sunny the sunflower. Their songs are a great way to teach children how the different things in nature help to determine where is a good place to plant the sunflower. They even talk about how bugs play a role in helping with the plants.

What impressed me the most is how synchronized and polished all the characters were during their singing and dancing routines. You could see the smiles on all the children's faces as they watched their favorite characters come to life right in front of their eyes. They even had some of the characters come out into the audience during some of the performances.

If you have some time this weekend, they have another show tonight at 5:30 pm and shows tomorrow at 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm at the Rosemont Theater in Rosemont, IL. Contact Ticketmaster or the Rosemont Theater Box Office to see which tickets are still available. Don't forget to use the code ERNIE to save $3 off each ticket!

Tickets range in price from $15 to $35 and are currently available online at Ticketmaster or by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000. Tickets are also available for purchase at the Rosemont Theatre box office and at all Ticketmaster outlets. For groups of 15 or more, please call GroupTix at 1-877-447-7849.

* PRODUCT REVIEW & GIVEAWAY * Revlon Fantasy Lashes (Ends 12/3/09)

Links provided may be from affiliate programs which help support this blog. Thanks for clicking!

One (1) lucky reader will win a set of Revlon's Fantasy Lashes.

For those of you that know me personally, you know that I don't have much in the way of long lashes. So when I was given the opportunity to try Revlon's Fantasy Lashes, I jumped at the chance. This was my first time trying false lashes, so it was all new to me. It was pretty easy to use. My biggest challenge was lining up the lashes correctly along my eyelid. I think that was mostly user error on my part. Once I had it on, I was amazed at the transformation of my lashes. I didn't mind batting them at my honey! It was also very easy to take off. When I first put them on, I was conscious of them being on my lashes, but as the day wore on, I got used to them. I was even a little sad that I couldn't keep them on all the time! The lashes really did a lot more than what any mascara I have tried on my own lashes has done!

Here's some more information regarding Revlon's Fantasy Lashes:
There are several styles of glue-on eyelashes available for those who prefer to use glue. For those who want something a little easier to apply, Revlon’s self-adhesive eyelashes are perfect! They require no messy glue, are very easy to apply, and are latex-free, which means they’re gentle on the eyes. Styles range from natural to glamorous, so you can choose the eyelash that completes the look you’re going for.
This is perfect for completing your holiday look! You can purchase them at a variety of drugstores, including CVS, Ulta, and Drugstore.com.

* Don't forget to check back Friday to see if you are the winner of this giveaway and to enter the other giveaways for more chances to win! *

Disclosure: Revlon did not compensate me in any way and all opinions expressed are my own honest opinions. Revlon provided samples to me for review purposes only. Revlon also provided the products for this giveaway.
